About Naz Hassan

From the ashes, the story behind Phoenix Guardians.

Naz founded Phoenix Guardians on something only personal experience can build: an instinct for what people in crisis actually need, paired with the professional training to deliver it.

For years, Naz Hassan operated in a world where there was no margin for error. As a high-level security specialist, he was trusted to protect prominent lives across the globe. He was the picture of composure and strength, but behind the scenes, he was losing a private war with addiction.

From shadow to strength

For nearly two decades, Naz maintained a veneer of control while caught in a relentless cycle of dependency. His turning point came twenty-one years ago when he chose to reclaim his life. The path wasn't linear, it was defined by a decade of setbacks and hard-won resilience, but eighteen years ago, Naz finally broke free.

He didn't just recover. He found a new calling.

A different kind of mission

What began as a single opportunity, transporting a client to treatment, ignited something far greater. Naz's empathy and deep understanding allowed him to connect with people in crisis on a profound level. He became more than a transporter. He became a steady presence, a guide, a source of hope.

Recognising his impact, he trained as an NLP, Life and ADHD Coach, dedicating himself fully to supporting individuals and families through life's most challenging moments. As he immersed himself in the industry, he grew disillusioned with the exploitative practices and profit-driven motives he saw too often. He decided to do things differently.

Phoenix Guardians

Driven by integrity, Naz founded Phoenix Guardians: a person-centred, ethics-driven practice committed to changing how addiction support is delivered. The focus is genuine care, intervening, accompanying, coaching individuals through every stage of their journey.

His clients, including high-profile families, executives and elite professionals, consistently describe his approach as calm, discreet, unfazed in crisis, and genuinely unlike anything they've encountered before.

"Recovery is possible. And no one has to walk the path alone."

Our ethical promise

What we will, and will not, do.

  1. We will be clear about what we can and cannot provide.
  2. We do not make exaggerated promises.
  3. We do not pressure families into intervention.
  4. We do not present coaching as medical diagnosis or emergency care.
  5. If another form of support is more appropriate, we will say so.
